Our story

We met in New York, on a night that was supposed to be short and wasn't. Since then we've collected a life in small pieces — winter walks, rooftops over the skyline, December mornings by a tree, a porch in the September sun.

Next June we're bringing everyone we love to a quiet corner of southwestern France. No spectacle, just long tables, good wine and the people who got us here. Thank you for crossing an ocean for us.

Travel & stay

Getting there

The venue is Château La Carrière in Saint-Cyprien, in the Dordogne. The closest airport is Bergerac Dordogne Périgord (EGC), under an hour away — but it has limited international service, so Bordeaux-Mérignac (BOD) will be easiest for most of you.

  • Bordeaux (BOD) — likely the easiest option for most U.S. travellers.
  • Bergerac (EGC) — closest to the château, fewer flights.
  • Paris (CDG) — worth it for a significantly better fare, but you'll still need to get down to the Dordogne.

Huntsville family: start with HSV → ATL → BOD. Coming from NY/NJ/DC, compare JFK, EWR and IAD.

Transport

The château is deep in the countryside — please don't count on Uber or finding a taxi on arrival. We're arranging private transfers from the airport and will share details once we have everyone's flights.

For the Huntsville family we're coordinating a private van and driver so everyone can travel together with all their luggage. If you'd like to join a group transfer, let us know once you've booked.

When to arrive

Ideally everyone staying at the château arrives on Friday 19 June, with the wedding on Saturday 20 June. That leaves time to rest, enjoy the château and be together before the day itself.

A few tips

  • Book flights that land in France earlier in the day where you can.
  • No need to rent a car unless you want one for travel before or after — we're handling transport for the weekend.
  • Once booked, send us your airline, flight number, arrival airport and arrival time so we can coordinate.
  • Don't worry about Dordogne geography. We'll help with transport and recommendations all weekend.
